Is there a time limit to the course?
No. You can take your time and refer back to the video and handbook as much as you like, any day, any time.
Was Artificial Intelligence Used to Design Any Part of This Course?
Yes, the Glossary of Terms in the handbook. But, each term along with its definition was carefully scrutinized against my 5+ decades of experience, making sure that the terms are relevant and accurate. I am a working artist with experience in a wide variety of areas; college art courses, drawing and painting wins and failures (and learning from them), entering art competitions, approaching galleries, attending workshops, teaching workshops, learning tips and tricks along the way, experimenting with mediums and all before the internet was a thing.
I am not an AI clone. You get my authentic real self and real-world expertise in this course.
Is this program right for me if I'm brand new to painting?
You are in the right place my friend! Fear not. I start you off with gentle guidance and explanations of pastels and materials and how to use them, including how to set up a small workspace and mitigate some of the mess. Although, messy is part of the fun! I even show you budget-friendly alternatives to acquiring supplies in case you still aren't sure. But I know you'll love it. You'll learn a lot. And you'll have a good time!
What if I've never drawn before?
No need to worry. Developed drawing skills are not a requirement for this course. I show you step-by-step how to begin and complete your pastel painting. You'll learn a few drawing techniques as we go.
